Does pravastatin lower blood pressure?

Short answer: no. Pravastatin is not used to treat or reliably lower blood pressure. It’s a statin prescribed to lower LDL cholesterol and reduce cardiovascular risk.

There may be a very small, inconsistent drop in blood pressure in some people, but this is not considered clinically meaningful and shouldn’t be relied on for BP control. If you need to manage high blood pressure, use an appropriate antihypertensive as prescribed by your doctor.
