Trazodone expiration time?

The expiration time for trazodone is whatever date is printed on the bottle. Do not take trazodone past its expiration date.

What to do if your bottle is expired:
- Do not use it. Replace it with a new prescription if you still need the medication.
- Safe disposal: check if your pharmacy offers a drug take-back program. If not available, you can mix the pills with undesired substances (e.g., used coffee grounds or kitty litter), seal in a plastic bag, and throw in the trash. Do not flush down the toilet.

Storage tips:
- Keep in the original container with the lid on.
- Store at room temperature, away from moisture, heat, and light (not in the bathroom).
