Why would stopping daily baby aspirin make you feel dizzy?
Dizziness after stopping baby aspirin is often not caused by “withdrawal” in the classic sense (aspirin doesn’t usually cause physical dependence). But people can still feel unwell after stopping because the body and routine change at the same time, for example:
- The original aspirin use may have been treating a problem that’s still present. Aspirin can reduce platelet clumping and lower inflammation in some conditions; if you stopped because of side effects or a different reason, the underlying issue may be fluctuating again.
- If you stopped because you were taking it for heart or stroke prevention, dizziness could reflect a cardiovascular or blood-flow problem rather than aspirin itself.
