Can I take acyclovir and Augmentin at the same time?
In most cases, acyclovir and Augmentin (amoxicillin/clavulanate) can be taken together without an important drug–drug interaction. They act in different ways: acyclovir is an antiviral, while Augmentin is an antibiotic. Taking both is often done when someone needs treatment for a viral condition plus a suspected or confirmed bacterial infection.
