Does atorvastatin cause constipation?
Constipation is not a common, well-established side effect of atorvastatin, but it can occur in some people. In drug safety reporting and prescribing information for cholesterol-lowering statins, constipation and other gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms are occasionally listed among possible adverse effects.
