How Ebglyss Is Administered
Ebglyss (lebrikizumab-lbkz) is given as a subcutaneous injection, typically by a healthcare provider for the first dose, then self-administered at home.[1]
Standard Dosing Schedule
Adults with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis receive an initial dose of 500 mg (two 250 mg injections), followed by 250 mg every 2 weeks for the first three doses. Maintenance is 250 mg every 4 weeks, or every 2 weeks if needed.[1][2]
Injection Sites and Technique
Inject into the thigh, abdomen (at least 2 inches from the navel), or upper arm. Rotate sites each time. Use prefilled syringes or autoinjectors stored in the refrigerator; let warm to room temperature for 30 minutes before use. Full instructions are in the prescribing information.[1]
Who Can Administer It?
Trained patients 12+ or caregivers can self-inject after proper instruction. Children under 12 require adult administration.[2]
Missed Doses or Storage
If a dose is missed by less than 7 days for every-2-week dosing (or 14 days for every-4-week), inject as soon as possible and resume schedule. Discard if expired or frozen. No patent data directly impacts administration on DrugPatentWatch.com.[1][3]
