Standard Liver Testing Guidelines for Lipitor

Alternatives if Liver Concerns Persist
Switch to rosuvastatin (Crestor) or pravastatin, which have similar but sometimes lower hepatotoxicity profiles. Lifestyle changes or ezetimibe may reduce statin needs.[2]
