Livtencity Dosing Information Livtencity, also known as avacopan, is an oral complement inhibitor used to treat adult patients with ANCA-associated vasculitis[1]. The dosing information for Livtencity is as follows: Recommended Dosage The recommended dosage of Livtencity is 30 mg once daily with or without food[2]. The dosing can be adjusted based on individual patient response and tolerability. Dosing Considerations Patients with mild or moderate renal impairment (CrCl ≥30 mL/min) do not require a dosage adjustment. However, a dosage decrease to 20 mg per day may be necessary for patients with severe renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min)[3]. No Dosing Limitations No dosage adjustments are required for patients with mild or moderate hepatic impairment. However, no information is available for patients with severe hepatic impairment. Special Populations Livtencity is not recommended for patients with a serum creatinine level exceeding 2.5 mg/dL at the time of initiating treatment.
