How to Store Zomacton
Store unmixed Zomacton (somatropin) powder cartridges at room temperature, between 59°F and 86°F (15°C and 30°C), away from light, heat, and moisture. Do not refrigerate or freeze the unmixed powder.[1]
Once mixed with the diluent, refrigerate the solution at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C) and use within 21 days. Protect from light and do not freeze. Discard any unused portion after 21 days.[1]
What If It's Already Mixed?
Mixed Zomacton must stay refrigerated at all times. Let it reach room temperature before injecting, but return it to the fridge right after use. Avoid shaking the cartridge.[1]
Can Zomacton Be Traveled With?
For unmixed powder, room temperature storage works for short trips. For mixed solution, use a cooler with ice packs to maintain refrigeration. Airlines allow it as a medical necessity with documentation.[1][2]
