It depends on your prescription (and concentration matters)
The amount (mL) of testosterone cypionate you should inject can’t be answered safely without your specific prescription dose and your vial concentration (for example, 100 mg/mL vs 200 mg/mL). The “correct” mL is simply the prescribed milligrams (mg) divided by the concentration (mg per mL).
How to convert your prescribed dose (mg) into mL
Use this formula:
mL to inject = (Prescribed dose in mg) ÷ (Vial concentration in mg/mL)
Example:
- If you are prescribed 200 mg and your vial is 200 mg/mL, then mL = 200 ÷ 200 = 1.0 mL.
- If you are prescribed 200 mg and your vial is 100 mg/mL, then mL = 200 ÷ 100 = 2.0 mL.

1) Your prescribed dose in mg (for example, 100 mg, 200 mg, 250 mg)
2) Your testosterone cypionate concentration on the label (mg/mL)
3) How often you’re meant to inject (weekly, every 2 weeks, etc.)

Safety note: don’t “guess” your injection volume
