Armodafinil tab 150mg?

Armodafinil 150 mg tablets (brand name Nuvigil) are a prescription wakefulness-promoting medication. They’re used to treat excessive daytime sleepiness from narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome, or shift work sleep disorder. It’s the R-enantiomer of modafinil and works to promote wakefulness.

Typical dosing (consult your doctor for personal advice):
- Narcolepsy or obstructive sleep apnea: 150 mg once daily in the morning. May increase to 250 mg/day if needed (maximum 250 mg/day).
- Shift work sleep disorder: 150 mg about 1 hour before the start of the shift (can be adjusted, but 150 mg is common). Do not take too late in the day due to insomnia risk.

Important points:
- Onset is usually within about an hour; effects can last through the day (longer in some people).
