3. Gently rotate the plunger while simultaneously pulling it back to draw the solution from the vial.
4. Continue to draw back the plunger until 4 mL of solution is withdrawn, leaving about 0.3 to 0.6 mL behind.
5. Once 4 mL of solution is withdrawn, remove the plunger, and then securely replace the plunger, checking that it is at the correct stopper position.
